Introducing the 2019 Team!
LLP Brand Ambassador Shoot
One of the highlights of my summer is meeting my new Brand Ambassador Team. Because I’m mainly an Arvada senior photographer, I chose ladies who can represent 5 local Arvada High Schools. They were chosen from a stack of applications based on their community service, academic achievements, and school activities. They’re absolutely incredible! I was totally charmed during our BA kick off and I’m excited to introduce all of them to you!
This radiant, spirited young lady goes to Golden High School. She’s on varsity swim team and is an officer of National Honors Society. I’ve known Asa and her family since she was little and always hoped she’d pick me for her senior portraits. So I was super excited when she applied to be a Brand Ambassador. But Asa truly caught my heart when she mentioned on her application that her mother inspired her because of how loving and brilliant her mom is. Who doesn’t love a girl who respects and admires her Momma? Seriously the perfect addition to the team!
Jacy attends Golden High School, where she plays tennis and volunteers at local elementary schools with National Honors Society. Jacy also volunteers at the Jeffco Action Center and with the Lincoln projects in Denver. This little lady also works at 5280 Gymnastics, where she used to compete! AND if you didn’t think she was cool enough, Jacy shadows cardiovascular surgeons and cancer research doctors and eventually wants to attend medical school and become a SURGEON! How stupid cool is that??
She goes to Arvada West High School, where she’s a part of National Honor Society and Link Crew. She’s in Steele Athletics, a competitive cheerleading program which is just WILD to me! She’s eyeing a career in medicine and potentially attending CU Denver next year. Olivia totally radiates light and passion. I am beyond excited to hang out with her more!
Next up, Allie!
I got really excited reading Allie’s application. She kind of does everything! From being on the golf team and in National Honors Society at Ralston Valley to working with Polished Girlz to start a Colorado chapter of the nonprofit, this little lady just blows me away. I was touched by how kind she was at our kick off and how excited she was to meet the other ladies. I loved driving downtown with her and listening to her rave about how beautiful she thought everyone was on the team. It just goes to show how incredibly kind she is. I hope you know how amazing you are, Allie!
Gillian goes to Faith Christian Academy where she’s on Student Council and an active member of National Honors Society. She also plays softball and throws for track and lives in her high school weight room, so she totally gets my love for exercise! Gillian really has a heart for our community, not to mention that she’s as cute as a button. I’m SO excited to watch her shine through the team! Especially because she sees it as an opportunity to grow in relationship with other ladies in the area and with God 😊
This ambitious and smart girl really does a little of everything. She’s on swim team at Ralston Valley and co-founded yoga club at her high school. She’s currently working on her Gold Award through Girl Scouts, which she’s been in since Kindergarten! Someday, Keaton hopes to work for the UNITED NATIONS. I love a lady with ambition! I’m wishing her luck with all her dreams and thrilled to have her on my team this year!
Taylor goes to Arvada West High School. She might be my first disc golf player and she’s big into swimming! She loves new adventures, which is part of what motivated her to join the team, and she loves any opportunity to help out her community. Taylor finds inspiration in people who persevere, hence her admiration for Jackie Robinson and his ability to push through criticism and malice to pursue his career and break boundaries. I can only hope the same kind of perseverance for Taylor and all of my team!
Kaylee has a wildly generous heart. She adores community service and works at an assisted living home called Keystone Place all while balancing school at Pomona High School. Kaylee also wants to become a teacher for students with special needs, which I think just really shows her compassion. She wanted to join my brand ambassador team to show other teens that “nothing is impossible if you believe,” which is just LOVE! Doesn’t that just fill your heart?? She has an incredible story of overcoming depression, anxiety, and living with seizures that I’m really excited for her to share with you all on an upcoming blog post. Her story is so inspirational! Kaylee, I’m so happy that you found my team. I’m overjoyed for the opportunity to get to know you over the course of your senior year!
This girl goes to Faith Christian Academy, where she’s been involved in everything from soccer to speech and debate to 4-H. She loves investing in her community, which motivated her to apply for my team:) She’s eyeing a degree in biomedical engineering! How cool is that?? Cambrei is inspired by her dad’s ability to bring good into the lives of others, regardless of his situation, which I think is totally amazing and something I’d love to strive for.
And finally, Millie!
I was SO SO SO excited to find out this girl has a llama. How wild is that?? I’ve never actually met someone who owns one and I’m ready for any excuse to meet one! (Like maybe her senior session tonight!) But, beyond her llama, Millie is really involved at Ralston Valley. She’s vice president of both National Honors Society and French Honor Society! She’s all over RV’s music department and loves being in the school musical. Millie is hoping to go to Texas A&M for a degree in animal science and becoming a veterinarian specializing in cardiothoracic surgery! Millie amazes me already. I can’t even begin to imagine how much more she’ll stun me this year. Plus, she is a light and a delight, always smiling always bringing joy to those around her.
