This time of year, flannels are a MUST to have in your winter closet. They’re comfortable, cute, and cozy.  They can make you look put together even though you are super comfy and feel like you are actually wearing your PJ’s!  There are a variety of styles and ways to wear your flannels this winter so you stay warn AND cute.

If you are a person who does not quite know how to wear your flannels yet, here are a few tips to help you out. You can dress flannels up or down they are perfect if you have no clue what to wear.  Take a peek and see these styles!

Pair a cute flannel with leggings for a simple and cute look. To jazz up your flannel-legging combo you can add a colorful scarf and comfy boots. If you are feeling a little extra that day make those boots knee high and pair them with boot socks, add a cardigan with a pop of color and you will be looking fierce. You can even tie your flannel around your waist for the extra casual vibe.

Another way to wear a flannel is with jeans.  You can use ripped jeans if you want a more edgy look. Then top it off with basic converse or sassy wedges, whatever is your style, and you will be rocking your flannel. Mix and match these ideas and add a cute jacket or vest and make the outfit your own. There is so much you can do with a flannel, you just have to try it out.

Flannels that are currently in are the ones which include the fall colors such as maroon, olive, black, beige, etc. The colors and options are endless. You can find flannels anywhere from Target (Claire’s) to department stores like Nordstroms and Macy’s and specialty shops like H&M (Bobbi) and American Eagle (Kayla).  Even Forever 21!
