I love sessions where I can capture a family in the middle of their real life, right in the stage they are in. This in home session was truly real life, as I came into their home soon after the birth of their son. And of course, their sweet little toddler was ready to explore. Trying to get a family portrait proved tricky, since she is at the age & stage of exploration and independence! But it’s a joy for me to capture THAT, too. Real life is beautiful, folks! So we let her explore and we let him nurse; eventually everyone got to snuggle up for a complete portrait.
