March Book Stack
Momma Leighellen's Book Nook
Here is my March book stack showing all the books i read in March of 2020. Considering my original March TBR was 13 books and halfway through the month we were hit with a global pandemic, I think I did pretty good.
My March Book Stack looked a little different than my original TBR pile because I found myself gravitating towards lighter books this month. Gone was a lot of my meatier, heavy historical fiction books. In it’s place were more YA, fantasy, and even a few romance which I NEVER READ!
The one special item in my March Book Stack were the two Middle Grade Books I read for the #middlgrademarch challenge. I also participated in a buddy read with my friend Liv from Instagram and her two buddies in their online bookclub they host on Twitter. HERE
Here is my complete March Book Stack list:
- Dangerous Alliance
- Rhythms of Renewal
- Know My Name
- Lovely War
- In Five Years
- Open Book
- Edenbrooke
- The Girl Who Drank The Moon
- The Hunting Party
- The Night Diary
Of all the books in my March Book Stack, my favorite books were:
- Know My Name by Chanel Miller. This was a powerhouse of a book and definitely should be up for Book of the Year and should easily take Memoir of the Year as she recounts her battle coming to grips with sexual assault. You can read my full review here.
- Lovely War by Julie Berrry. This is a sweet but moving YA historical fiction romance as told uniquely through the perspective of the goddess Aphrodite. Full review here.
- The Girl Who Drank The Moon by Kelly Barnhill. This is a Middle Grade book that is magical, whimsical, and heartwarming. Full review here.
