I have been on a Sci Fi kick lately! And Voyagers by Meg Charlton was just the kind of book I love.

Synopsis

When the a mysterious transmission pulsing from the edge of the solar system arrives, the world changes overnight. Planes are grounded, satellites fail, and speculation abounds. Many believe this could be first contact with extraterrestrial life, but for Alex, it feels deeply personal—the opening of an old wound.

Book Review

I loved this book! If you enjoy a thoughtful, slow moving character driven SciFi – Voyagers by Meg Chalton is the book for you! I was completely immersed in this quiet coming of age tale of friendship and memory, set on the backdrop of potential contact with aliens.

The audiobook is phenomenal (read by Michael Crouch, who I always adore) and that ending was perfect. It made me want to go back and reread the entire book. Thank you to LibroFm for the early audio and Harper for sending the ARC. I’ll be sure to hand sell this one at the shop!
