Murder at an Irish Christmas
Momma Leighellen's Book Review

Who likes a little mystery in their Christmas reading? For example, I grew up loving Encyclopedia Brown books and TV shows like Murder She Wrote, so I enjoyed Murder at an Irish Christmas. This was a quick Christmas themed who-done-it. This is the 6th book in a series set in Ireland but it reads as a stand alone, much like the Christmas special of your favorite show.

The story dives right in when a rich, talented patriarch of the family is found crushed under a giant harp. From there, everyone is a suspect and all sorts of family drama unfolds! It reminds me a bit of the movie Knives Out as the family is trapped in one place together and the more everyone shares, the more secrets are revealed.

Murder at an Irish Christmas is filled with witty retorts, a love of music, and several plot twists. The author makes you think one thing while revealing another. I loved the way Siobhán notices all the small details and tries to solve the mystery. It all leads up to a great reveal at the end!

Thank you to TLC Book Tours and Kensington Books for a book to read and reaview.
