Hey friends! It’s that time again. Time to announce our October Bookclub Picks for Momma Leighellen’s Book Club.

Historical fiction fans rejoice!  There are plenty of options to choose from this month!  October is looking GREAT for reading!  This month, #mommaleighellensbookclub and friends have picked three amazing books and all repeat authors we love.  So I hope to see a lot of old friends join us again.  

October Bookclub Picks:

The Vanished Days:  from the author of The Winter Sea and A Desperate Fortune comes a new historical fiction set in 1707 Scotland!  Also, author @susannakearsely will be joining us for a zoom chat when we finish! (Chat Oct 24)

The Book of Magic:  Last year we read Magic Lessons together so I’m excited to return to this story!  Full of magic and witchcraft, but more so family and love.  It’s the perfect book for spooky season and reads as a stand alone. So if you didn’t join us last year you can still hop in this time! (Chat Oct 30)

The Lincoln Highway:  Who’s ready for a road trip? From the acclaimed author of everyones favorite, A Gentleman in Moscow, comes a new historical fiction book told over ten days in 1954.  The story follows a boy and three men on a traveling adventure from the Midwest to NY and the people they meet and mayhem that ensues.
